Mooney Hollow Barn (Reception Hall & Saloon) is located 10 miles South of Bellevue on Highway 52 where barn dances are held almost every Saturday night and the Saloon is open 7 days a week. The late Grand Ole Opry Legend, Roy Acuff performed at the barn on Nov 14, 1981. Additional Nashville Stars of Ernst Tubb, Faron Young, Porter Wagner, wife of Jim Reeves, Kitty Wells & Bill Anderson all performed on the Mooney Hollow Opry stage from 1982 to 1983. In 1982, a huge fiddle was painted on the silo that exists next to the barn. This art work master piece has made this legendary barn a landmark for locals and tourists to take pictures of the huge fiddle on the silo and has put this barn on the map.
